Paros

If you are sick of Santorini and Mykonos (like i am), Paros is an amazing option! Paros might just be my favorite Greek island right now. I still have a lot more to visit, but so far it’s captured my heart. It’s got delicious restaurants, spectacular beaches, and amazing nightlife, but still not as crazy as Mykonos. If you are looking for a fun destination that avoids that untz untz of Mykonos and tourists of Santorini, then Paros is for you!

We stayed In Naoussa. While I wish we stayed longer so we could have checked out Parikia,  Naoussa is still the perfect destination even if you only have a few days.

Here is my list of top spots – both places we visited and ones we didn’t have quite enough time to squeeze in:

Stay: We stayed at the new Cove boutique hotel. Loved the bohemian vibes. The staff was amazing and It’s the perfect location. The hotel is on beach but it’s also walking distance from town.

Other places we liked and considered staying at: Parilio hotel , Cosme, Mr. & Mrs. White Paros

Restaurants: In Paros everyone eats dinner super late. We were always the first to arrive. Seems like people go to dinner after sunset in Paros. But we didn’t mind getting the early bird special and then hanging out at a bar for sunset.

Barbarossa Delicious food, amazing vibes, amazing sunset. The Greek salad & lobster pasta were great.

Deck One of the newer restaurants in Naoussa. AMAZING views and even more amazing food. Lobster pasta & lobster risotto were incredible!

Giacomo It’s like stepping into painting. The pizza was incredible!

Other places we wanted to try but didn’t have time: Statheros Restaurant , Stilvi, Taverna Glafkos, Parostià Restaurant (brand new restaurant at the Cosme hotel)

Sunset Drinks: Come back Bar , Agosta

Places to see & snap a pic for insta (obv):Naoussa Venetian Castle, Linardo, Faneromeni Church. Also, just get lost in the streets. You will find the cutest alleyways just exploring. Pop into the stores you pass along the way.

Other honorable mentions: Yo Love for a Greek Frozen yogurt, Ragoussis Bakery for a greek pastry & iced coffee, Vanilla gelateria for ice cream , Fotis all day bar for a drink and/or a light bite. Lageri Beach, Moraitis Winery

Day Trip to Antiparos: Totally worth it! We were thinking of staying a night or 2 at Kastro Antiparos or The Rooster. But in my opinion all you need is a day trip. The Ferry from Punta, Paros to Antiparos is only 8 minutes long. We got on the 10am ferry and spent the entire day in Antiparos and went back on the 5:30pm ferry.

Breakfast in Antiparos: Bougainvilles (Get the pancakes) Then walk down the beautiful cobblestone streets and go into all the shops. Sites to see: Agia Marina church, Castle of antiparos, Church of Agios Nikolaos

Soros Beach: They send a car to Chora town to pick you up. Rent a bed, relax, and have a drink on the beautiful Soros beach. When you are hungry you can head into the restaurant for lunch. We got the “Dakos” to start and we shared the lobster pasta. It was delish!

And yes i’m a psycho virgo and pick all my outfits in advance according to the location i will be at. Here is an overview of my Paros Looks:
