1. Sequins or Metallics
Call it basic if you must, But tis the season! Metallics and sequins are a must for me in December and holiday parties are the perfect occasion! Yes i know sometimes it can be tacky but if you pick the right dress you win!
Try these less pricey options:
2. Rock A Jumpsuit
Not in the mood for a dress? Go for a black jumpsuit. i prefer wide leg so it gives me a little room to breathe/eat (aka stuff my face with food at holiday parties) You can never go wrong with a jumpsuit. They are comfy and chic! Downside for me is i ALWAYS have to get it hemmed since i’m so short -but once i do it’s my fave!
Looking for a less expensive option? Here you go:
3. Go RED!
Black tie holiday affair? Everyone always wears black. You should go in RED!

Is it finally cold out enough for hot coffee and fall clothes? The weather lately has been a little annoying since it’s chilly in the AM and then by the afternoon we all die of heatstroke. It was kind of warm this day so i was able to take off my long duster and just wear the sweater dress. I’m pretty sure the sweater dress was supposed to be a shirt, but being 5’2 I turned it into a dress. #sorrynotsorry
I’m all about the long jackets and dusters this season. This black one is from Alice and Olivia. I’ve also seen some really cute ones from http://www.houseofcb.com/ that i’m going to be investigating soon.
